Dog Artwork

This one of a kind artwork began 12 years ago in Mill Valley and is quite different than what I am doing currently. It is a representation of my love for dogs. I wanted to create dogs unconventionally. I like the way their souls speak through bold colors. When I gaze into the eyes of these dogs I can almost feel them speaking to me.  These breeds are very expressive in their personalities. The pigments I chose for each breed of dog depicted how I saw them!   These images can be purchased as a print or as a 5x7 greeting card.

I began painting when a friend gave me some watercolors about 18 years ago. I taught myself watercolor, oil, acrylic and other mixed media. I sold my artwork at Venice Beach, Los Angeles and was quite happy creating and working on commissions.  The type of abstract acrylic pouring I do now is different and complicated and in so many ways more fulfilling!
